So this is pry a silly question but i have a RF P3 D212 and need an amp for it. Im semi broke so the cheaper the better. Im stuck on these 3.

1. http://www.katerno.com/detail/s/72765/p/HIZXI1006/Hifonics-ZXi-1006-2-Channel-2000-Watt-A/B-Class-Zeus-Amplifier-

2. http://www.millionbuyplus.com/view_product.php?itemno=HIFBXI610

3. http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/Shop/Control/Product/fp/vpid/7112100/vpcsid/0/SFV/30046/sret/18111619181716223282213218283216219216287220227220291222239238297226237232227228235246247240251244237

Is it smart to go 1000 watt rms for the p3? Ill possibly be adding another sub latter... Another question i have is whats the difference between the class's of amps? Example class a, b, d etc.
Thanx,
-Jason

The first one looks good, but it's class A/B which means it will draw a LOT of power.

The different classes are the type of amplifier it uses. A is generally regarded as the cleanest, but also the most inefficient. It will use a ton of power. B is almost never found by itself, usually in a hybrid with A - A/B. A/B is very clean and a little more efficient. These are "high current" amplifiers that are very powerful.

Class D is the most efficient generally speaking, usually made for subwoofers because the distortion created by class D is outside the frequency range of subwoofers. These will draw less power for a given amount of wattage.'

P.S. - Why did you start two threads with the same basic question?

So id have to upgrade my wiring (big 3) if i went with number one? And will giving my sub 500 watts over its rms be bad for it?

Too much power won't hurt it as much as too little power.

Good point on RF's reccomendation. I wasnt sure about the whole ported thing cause of that. My buddy was tellin me that ported are always better but i see now after researching that not always the case.
