My wife didn't like the idea of a subwoofer being just a box, so I built this. It has twin 15" drivers powered by a 420 watt amp.

Nice, like the old school look. However did you apply any internal bracing? Can only imagine how much that box would move having 2 15"s.Truck setup

Very cool idea! Do the cabinet doors open to reveal the woofers?
Great work on it. That's a very clever way of getting past the WAF.The nirvana inducer-

The doors are frames and grill cloth and are held on by velcro. The box is two sealed chambers and is made of 1" subfloor usb for ridgedness.

Pleasing to the eye but still able to pound! Great idea, nice look. With kawizx...do you get any vibrations from the furniture BOX...or is there some kind of sound absorbing material in there?
We should have a 'wife education section' on this site? Might some work in trying to meet the WAF all the time!
