I've tried a few , and that one is still my favorite. The first rule of Fight Club is you don't talk about Fight Club -
the one I posted gives you a page with photos and descriptions just like Ebay. I like tempest but there is to much work there. You can range limit this new one as well. The Gear... Hi,
Nathan here - founder of Searchtempest.com. I found this post from the link to Searchtempest, and I've got to say, it's got me rather excited. I had never considered the idea of using Yahoo pipes to facilitate craigslist searches, but now that I think about it, it shouldn't be too hard. I'm going to seriously look into adding this to Searchtempest.com. That way you can get all the results together, with no need to skip past blank cities - and you'll keep all the existing benefits of Searchtempest (like advanced filtering by title, negative keywords; craigslist+ebay searches; searching by distance from zip; etc). In time, this may allow even more filters to be added.
So I just wanted to say thank you for posting about this and thanks to ckphoto too for linking me and helping me find it! -
Boo.. so I looked into it. Looks like Craigslist has already been intermittently blocking Yahoo Pipes (which Craiglook relies on) due to too much traffic. So I guess I'm not going to be switching to that way of doing things. However, it did give me some ideas, so look for Searchtempest to be even better soon!
