SDA cable hook up-reversed wiring ends?

I was just taking a look at D. Knight's schematics for wiring SDAs and (I'm fiddling with SDA-2As?).
I have a home made cable that came with the set. From the schematics it seems that there is a reversal in the wiring of this cable from one speaker to the other so that wire end #1 goes into slot one (two vertical blade/blade) and #2 into 2 on one speaker but #1 goes into the second slot and #2 into the first slot on the other.
Am I reading this correctly...or does it matter. And can some one explain why this is so, if my reading is correct!
That's the way I have them wired and it 'seems to be working...I think?

This has got to be the correct wiring for the SDA interconnect because I'm sitting here listening to Innervisions by Stevie Wonder...and his voice seems to be coming from a 'center' channel that doesn't exist and there are sounds coming from the left and right sides just beyond where the actual left and right speakers 'are' located?

Hmm now you got me wondering...I looked at my cable upon reading your thread (i have the original factory cable) and there wasnt anything different about the blades and there were no markings whatsoever. ...i hear music on the sides all around me, mine create a very wide soundstage. Give me a bit ill reverse it and see if i get something different on the same song cuz i do get that "center channel feeling" but its not as emphasized as you make it soundTruck setup

The wide blade wire should connect to the other wide blade, small to small. The sockets are reversed on one speaker and that is normal.Political Correctness'.........defined

Thanks Finut,
That is what I ended up doing almost by accident as the home-made cable that came with the speakers has same-sized ends. It did not occur to me to look at the blade inputs on the speakers themselves....but you are, as always, correct.
