We decided what the hell, lets get married today.

After 2 years of fussing and debating we finally decided to just go ahead and get married. Went to the Probate Office yesterday for the license. Went to the jewlers last night for the rings. Made an appointment with a Chapel last night. Now we are headed off to get hitched.

This should be a surprise to everyone.

Wish me luck!

BTW...she makes more money than I do....LOL

I have been following your previous thread "got a marriage license today" and, now, this one. Congradulations!!!!!! :)

My wife and I were dating/exclusively engaged for several years. Then she got pregnant. That changed the whole deal ... other people were now involved as a result of our relationship. It took less time than typically do decided which movie to attend than to get married.

I have never regretted such a decision. Besides of the wonderful daughter Dawn has given me when she first got pregnant, she since has given me a wonderful son. Marriage is all about total trust, which makes you vulnerable as well. Dawn, my wife, has never let me down the level of trust I have given her concerning myself.

I got married by a judge 28 years ago. Much better than all that other fuss.

Married men live longer, . . . I don't know that that is a selling point, but there it is.

Good luck, make it a fresh start! Chicks dig that.

Well in that case, he should make sure to know the law so if that DID happen (sending my best wishes!) he should get it annulled as opposed to gettin divorced, unless he can get some $$$ outta her lol J/K

It was a fantastic day. We surprised everyone with this move. Both of us are happy as can be.

Went to see Diana Krall last night. Got a standing ovation from the people around us when they heard we got married a few hours earlier. We even got invited to go sit down front at a table that was center stage and only about 20-25 feet from Diana. Showered in bottles of wine, fine food and congratulations from everyone there. We'll never forget it. Danced to almost every song.

BTW...her rule for audio buying is this. "is it your money?....are your bills paid?....if so, go get it"

Congratulations, sounds like you had a GREAT day. Smart wife you have there & she is quite right.

Keep up to date with all of the true necessaties. & if you come across some play money do an upgrade.

When shopping for new toys try to include her in the proccess so that she can have a better understanding. DON'T WASTE MONEY! Save so that you can get the upgrade that you TRULY want & plan on keeping it for quite some time. Do it once & do it RIGHT the first time around.

It's when you keep upgrading every few months buying the same type of gear over & over again that leads to a pissed off wife.

You guys like to call this a hobby, but it really is too expensive to truly be one. ESPECIALLY if you have more important responsibilities.

My best to you & your new wife 187Cam!
