I was about to buy an XD .40 subcompact, but I've also been looking at the PX4 subcompact. I've shot an XD SC so I know how it shoots, and was quite impressed. Has anyone shot the XD and the PX4 SC that can give an opinion? Does anyone else have any other recommendations in the subcompact area? I'm looking for something that is .40,.45 semi auto. I have a Colt python revolver, which I absolutely love, but it just isn't fit for a carry/self defense gun. I would be blind if I shot that thing is low light:D Although, not so bad since I only keep 38 +P in it at home. Before anyone starts hating, I do have a conceal carry permit:) I would greatly appreciate your input! Thanks guys:)

    I haven't ever shot an XD .40 but just don't like the trigger safety pull. If you're a Glock lover I suppose you will dig it though since it's like a Glock. I like that PX4 and have shot one. I kind of wonder how the solvent would affect the rail when you clean it though. It seems kind of "plastic ee". Probably a needless worry.
