for those who don't know, that's the hood sitting atop the base with no aquarium in the middle.

edit: actually, i have no idea how to purchase from these peeps. guess they're just a manufacturer and not vendor.

these guys look to be dealers... depending on shipping though, you may be better off hiring a local cabinet maker. but i like ones made specifically for aquariums in sizes and strengths that are the correct for the application.

oops. Did not read your entire post. Just saw you were in Pa. I guess you are another one of the droves of people that are running from the tax and spend state of PA to a tax friendly state of FL.

Check Craigslist you may find something you're looking for, there seems to be many fish tank starters here in Florida. Seen some really sweet deals at times in O town, not sure about Tampa but may be worth a look.

See this used but nice price, and maybe what looking for.

One of the best things I have done since getting back into reef tanks is join a local reef club. there is tons of equipment, tanks, frags and fish available from people looking to thin out, upgrade, or get out of the hobby for unbelievable prices.

From a quick search - this is a good place to start. I would post the same question you posted here - There.....

They could also direct you to the places to avoid, who has good prices or sales and there are usually group buys available to purchase consumables....

    Enjoy,
