I finally got my rti8 today ,the seller had the listing as 100 % working order. When i got the package 5 minutes ago the power ports were gone? and there was no floor pegs ,even though there was in the picture ad

How important is the power port on this speaker to make it function properly
Why advertise floor pegs and not include them
What should I do about this
Can one buy these parts from polk

    negotiate a return to seller
    misrepresentation of the item.

you might be out of pocket for return shipping and insurance
    or even a small percentage.

    better than all of it

Thats my train of thought jvc , the shipping was free and I dont think I will get a good price like that again

Plus I have them cranking right now and I'm blown away by the bass on them . I dont think I can give them back

These make my once bright 607 sound awesome

Call Polk and see if you can buy the parts. It might be cheaper and less of a hassle then shipping back the speakers.

Well turns out I jumped the gun and thankfully I never posted his name

He tells me that he took them off himself and sent them through the regular mail to avoid possible damage

All is well and extremely funky

Here here jvc ,on that subject

I now find myself asking will it be in my best interests to buy some fancy speaker wire ?
Is it even worth the difference it will bring as I only use an onkyo 607 to power them

    resolve the speaker situation first.

    then when that is settled

definitely explore your preferences in wiring and other gear for that matter.

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D
