Stuffing SDA-1B

Hello,

Is there supposed to be stuffing behind the passive base radiators in the SDA-1B? The stuffing in mine is just above the upper crossover. Would adding stuffing below improve or degrade performance.

    IMO, I think it would degrade simply because the radiater utilizes air moving within the cabinet to make the bass rad. move and act like a woofer. Thats just my educated guess.

    My Monitor 10Cs have stuffing behind the PR. That's why I asked.

    The stuffing should be behind your woofers, not the PR.

    Thanks, Face. Then I wonder why there is stuffing behind the PR on the Monitor 10s and if I should remove it.
