    got one account setup. Haven't received an invite to the new gmail account I created specifically for this purpose.

    We'll see how useful it is.

    I see this as a useful way to block unwanted calls from my home phone number.

    What other useful purposes? Call forwarding to multiple phones? Not useful to me but could be to some.

    i just called myself from another number (loser, i know) and it rang my cell phone and allowed me to listen in on a message being left in real-time. then i got a text and an email messagetelling me i received a new voicemail. i check my google voice and can play it through there loud and clear and the speech recognition is right on. i said, "yo, yo, yo, later dude." and it translated it perfectly and then archives it.

    Yeah, so far the voice-to-text translation seems crazy spot on.

    At the end of one test voicemail I ended the call by repeating the word "test" 3 times. It truncated it to just "testing".

    do you have a grandcentral account? That's how I got in.

    to be honest, i signed up for *something* months ago, but i don't remember what. i remember seeing something about grand central and i think i heard of it through slickdeals.com.
