So my dad threw out the bose 3-2-1 system today it is going to rain in a bit and was wondering as I sat here. All that the special connector dose is sent watts to the speakers so if i cut them at the ends, couldn't I hook them up to my polk speakers? I mean bi amp it because there is 4 wires in each wire thing, and they just hook up to 2 speakers inside the housing. What do you think could it work?

I wonder if Bose is really bi-wiring, or if they are using a surround-imaging simulation, and sending different signals down both those wires.

Leave it out in the rain. Get your self a good Adcom or Carver amp to power your speakers. If you want bi amping then get a 5 channel Adcom or Sunfire. Don't know what Polk speakers you have but that is my 2 cents.

You want to mate something from Bose, with a Polk Audio speaker? All I can say is....

Well I got to it tonight it was pretty simple 4 wires in each wire 2 + and 2 -. Hooked them up to the speakers didn't sound bad you can tell that the bose is cutting certain feq at higher volumes "probably so the bose speakers will not distort" It dose not sound half bad with the bose sub taking care fo the bass. It will have to do for now pics in a few days after I make sure I have them wired properly.
