help
I was walking through walmart and saw these PHAT looking speakers
they were all black
with light rings around the speakers that go on and off with the bass
i was looking at a jensen 100 watt amp
i want to bridge them and turn the gain all the way up
i also was looking at a pyle .02 farad capacitor
its the size of a 1 farad but filled with sand to make it feel heavier
and i was wondering, since i have a lot of telephone wire around the house, if i can just use that instead of actual speaker wire?
im on a budget and that jensen is going to break me
im going to try this system because my old system of urban audio werent cutting it
ive read on this forum before that some ppl have their subs facing backwards and some ppl have their subs facing up under their back seat
and some people had theirs inverted
well i tried doing the best of both worlds by putting mine in the back seat of my 84cutlass inverted with the subs facing backwards directly into the seat
no bass at all
can you believe that?
all it did was distort when it hit the seat
any help would be appreciated
im going for the crappiest sq ever
thanks again

im still waiting for the polk sponsored tahoe with 38s and when you open the back door hydraulic powered fiberglass steps with speakers in them come down so you can walk up and see the 8 momos on each wall and the 4 zapco amps under the fiberglass floor....
THAT would be a great demo truck

Forget nitrous in a jeep man. I have relatives in Minnesota and we wnet to a car show one weekend (sorry no pics of this bad **** jeep). The center for teh Vikings had a $75,000 conversion done to his Wrangler 4x4. What did he get for this you may ask??? He got the Hennassey 650R Venom package put into his Wrangler. In case you don't know what that is it's the 650 hp viper engine and a viper transmission. I can see hopped up high school kids in thier Dad's Vette trying to race that sucker. That Vette would be sucking down tire smoke and exhaust.

i thought late model viper v10's were 500+ horse... when did they start w/ 650's?

and its not realy a big jump to throw viper gear in a jeep (i'm not discounting the coolness, just the mechanical difficulty) -- its all mopar parts already -- not much to "ghetto rig" ... and the engine mounts the same as the jeep 318 / 360 v8's... new body computer, engine, trannie and voila you're set... dont even need to change the rear end unless u really plan to beat on the thing.

    damn -- now i want a jeep ! :)

The hp on the stock vipers is between 450-550 depending on what year you are talking about. Hennessey is an aftermarket viper company that will "tune" your engine up to 650hp. Or if you want thier ultimate package just give them around 125,000 and they will buy you a viper (you color choice) and tune the engine down to around 300-400 hp. Then they spal twin turbos on the SOB and you have a Vper putting out 996 hp and 0-60 in 2.5 and 0-100 in the low 4's. Ther reason why they have to tune it down is to keep it street leagel. Street leagel in most states is 1000hp or less. If you want the ultimate data base on high performance and concept cars check out www.supercars.net.

    Enjoy

Um, the NOS Tubes hold no Nirtous as far as I know. Dey ar jus fo decorashyuns! Well, bass tubes too but not a perfemance gain.

Oh yeah, just inacse, it is not NAWZZZZ! It is EN OH ESS (N.O.S.) or Nitrous. Just wanted to clear that up. It's so aggravating hearing NAWS! at the race track. Damn kids are stucking fupid!
