It is the new Devastator from the new movie...

I had to have it --

Kind of a dinky toy - the legs are to small to support the weight of the upper half standing up...

But I think the pose I have him in now is cool as hell! :)

    Pretty neat!

Just saw the film with my, soon to be 12 year old, daughter who keeps giving me all her action figures as she's too mature for them NOW, and she thinks her Dad's a geek who will display them in his office? Dad's not a geek but he does display them!

I have not decided how I want to display my collection.

I have two sets of figures --

"Nice ones" and the "cool ones" - and I feel only the nice ones (the Master Piece series particularly) and the larger, more detailed ones should be displayed. Where as the cool ones can just be together in a shelf somewhere ---

Im a nerd. I love it.

I also went through that "to mature" for toys phase. I put all my TFs in a box. I really regret that because somehow along the way I lost alot of parts and alot of toys. Toys Ill never see again but can remember.

I probably have over 2-300 transformers between what I display and have in boxes.

I like the original Devastator more because he is more like a giant robot.

They modeled the new devastator off an Ape -- note the twice as large arms vs. legs... and how he basically walks on his arms...

But I will say this - the 1980's Deva toy is a joke... lol

I have it, although incomplete, he sucks. LOL

I wish they would release a "Masterpiece" Devastator. Probably would cost 300+... but I would buy it, for sure.

VW wouldnt allow Michael Bay to use the bug.

Hence the humor in the first movie where they all but destroyed one.

Yeah, VW wanted no part of the movie - and Chevy wanted exclusive sponsorship. Also note how the Mustang police car had no Ford logo on it...

I thought the Police car was a Charger, am I mistaking? Now I need to watch again for sure.

Edited: Did my homework and it is indeed a Mustang. Good FAQs for sure.

Not saying I have any plans to marry my current GF --

But she understands and tolerates all my hobbies (audio/transformers/truck) --

And on top of that, she is into toys as much as I am. lol ---

Either way, I will not display my toys in the den of my house or anything. But I definitely will have a bookcase where they will reside.

I might display some of the Masterpiece series -- because as the name describes... they are a masterpiece.
