How do I house RC80is into a breezeblock wall?

Hi,

My first Polks and my first in-wall experience!

I have a total of eight RC80i speakers to place into my house being refurbished. The contruction (being cheap modern UK construction) is birck, then cavity, then breezeblock (here's where it gets tricky) then a one inch wooden batoning creating a second cavity where the plasterboard is mounted onto.

So, it's palsterboard; 1/2 inch or so, then a 1 inch cavity, then, say, 6inches of breezeblock.

I figure that I have to cut a hole as normal for the lugs to hold onto from behind, but then I'll have to chisel out the breezeblock (which isn't load-bearing) and place the speaker into that space created. Then tighten up the lugs as per instructions.

Should I make the cavity substantially bigger than the speaker or just enough for a snug fit.. or what?

Any help GREATLY appreciated. I've bought 8 pairs in total. 1/2 will be in the ceilings (oh, should I box these in too? and how?)
