Speaking of which I've been doing Variac for the SE-A3 since this afternoon. I'll be rotating it in the 2 channel rig for a while.
I will need to have SE-A3MKII and if you talk to Adrian to sell me one cheap, my SE-A3 is yours.

How does the SE-A3 stack up vs the ML and Denon?
ML335 is very sophisticated piece of amplifier. It's very modular built and use of Cu buss bars for all output MOSFETs connections all the way to speaker binding posts.
ML also is very nice warm sounding with almost analytical sounding and superb imaging.
Having said that, I think SE-A3 and other amps are not really lesser in terms of sound quality but not as well built as ML335. All those vintage amps were top of the lines models from their respective manufacturers at one time.Trying out Different Audio Cables is a Religious Affair. The Sunfire is 43 LBS of absolute smooth and lovely detailed sound that has taken my 2-channel rig in the Man Cave to another level.:cool: -

Concealer, The top (black) amp is Onkyo Grand Integra M-508 with 200wpcx2 and it's not bridgeable. It's servo and dual mono amp.
The bottom (soft gold) amp is Onkyo Grand Integra M-510 with 300wpcx2 and it's not bridgeable. It's completely dual mono design amp and as far as I know, it's one of a kind amp and only about 100 or less exist.Trying out Different Audio Cables is a Religious Affair.
