Anybody else using a Sony DVP-S7000 0r 7700 as transport

....Best bargain transport around. Was their Reference DVD player in 1999....$1200.00. Built like a Tank. Wieghs about 25 lbs. Ceramic in base...copper shielding. Sounds as good as any cd player under $500.00 from early 2000. But a bargain at $50-75. Out dated as a dvd player but good for 2 channel. I send the audio into an MSB Link III.....Sounds great for the $$$$$.

Really cool motorized door that slides down and then drawer slides out....Nice and quiet.

    ....this the 7700. The 7000 looks the same from the front but much deeper -front to back lenght.

    Found a 7700 at a pawn shop for $10 today. No power.... sigh

    Also, there were pry marks on the door like they were trying to get it open after it failed to power on.
