I noticed when i shut down the amp after a few seconds a buzzing sound comes out of my speakers not loud but noticeable.
Is this ok? I don't have this problem with my emotiva.
Thanks,
Larry.

does the buzzing continue or go away?

It's not unusual for some amps to emit a noise at turn off or shortly after. The big filter capacitors can still hold a charge ( and will slowly discharge) after shut down.Testing

Completely normal for designs (like the Adcom's) that have no muting circuits or protection relay's in the signal path.
If teh noise bothers you.........turn off the amp first wait until the caps drain (red light will go completely dim) and then turn off the pre."Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience.
