Hi all!

I just bought a used Adcom GFA-555 it's missing the right channel RCA Jack. I'm thinking of fixing this as a DIY project. How hard would this be to a noob working on electronics? I was looking for replacement jacks on Partsexpress.com, and saw some affordable ones... What do you think I should get?
Anything else, easy to "upgrade"?
Also what solder should I use for this job? there are quite a few options out there...
I will be picking up the amp soon....

Thanks in advance!

Not really that hard to fix. I would get a totally new L+R rca pad and use rosin core solder.

Don't know of any other easy mods, and also you can get RCA inputs at your local rat-shack

thanks, but I will upgrade to gold plated RCA Jacks...
If I'm going to take the time to change them, might as well go with better.

How about upgrading binding posts? Worth it? Difficult?
And what about the power cord?
I might do the upgrades in steps, not all at once.

I would not do binding posts or power cord, just use banana plugs IMO
