Mixing SDA tweeters

I've been considering changing one of the stock tweeters in each of my 2.3TL's to RDO-198's. I believe one of the 3 gets most of the highs, so I would be changing this one. I searched for some similar threads, but all I found was a few long ones that were started by some people that are now banned.
I was wondering if anyone has mixed SL3000's and RDO-198's in the same speaker, and if so, is it worth trying?
I am fairly new to this forum, so I apologize in advance if this topic has already been beaten to death.

My SL 3000s sounded totally different than the RD0198s. The 198s are more laid back and more detailed.

That's kind of what I thought. I am wondering if the differences between the two would compliment each other, or if it would just sound like something is wrong. I suppose if no one else has tried, I could give it a shot, and report my findings.Primary System

Everyone I've talked to about mixing the two different tweeters all said it didn't sound good. But give it a shot, it may work for you. -
I tried it on the same speakers, don't bother. Order a set of RD0198-1's and be happier than you were before.Political Correctness'.........defined

Thank you for the insight. I've already got 2 of the 198's, so I'm just going to order 4 more. I'll still give them a listen with the 3000/198 mix to hear for myself, but it sounds like the full compliment of 198's is the way to go.Primary System
