Picture with the band

This last weekend the Canadian band 54-40 was in my town playing a festival type concert. You American types might not recognize the name but any Canadian music fan will know them from the 80's to the present. Somewhere around 10 albums released and many singles like Ocean Pearl and One Gun, She-la etc. Anyway I own 3 of their LP's and thought it would be cool to get them signed by the band so after the concert I lined up at the designated autograph area. Their manager comes out and says they are too tired for the session so sorry everyone. But then he points to me and asks me to come forward. He asks if those are records of the band I'm holding which I showed him. He says come with me. He takes me to their backstage room with all the food etc. and introduces me to the guys. They are quite wowed out by my vinyl and are happy to sign them and then tell me a few stories about when they recorded them etc. One of the LP's is a Direct Metal Master and that had them particularly interested. Anyway it was very cool for an old guy who's been a fan since the 80's. Attached is the picture as proof. I'm the short fat guy in the middle holding records. Moral of the story vinyl will get you places youth **** and hot **** won't.
