Flat panel heat? How to protect?

I noticed that there is a lot of heat behind my 50" Samsung plasma. I am concerned about this heat reducing the longevity of the tv.
Do any of you use some sort of ventilation to protect your tv, if so, what?
I was thinking of getting one of these:

Any other suggestions?

If its anything like my 58" Panny plasma, that should be a good thing....on the rear top of mine are 5 low speed fans. These fans draw from vents lower on the chassis...across the electronics...and out the top..if you didnt know they were there and reached over the top it would feel pretty hot
I vacuum them every so often ( Plasma off of course ) .....you should take a flashlight and give yours a once over just to see . My Plasma is a good distance from the back wall...so none of this heat builds up....how far is yours from the wall ?The first rule of Fight Club is you don't talk about Fight Club -
I assume your set is wall-mounted. I know wall mounts 'look' great...but putting it on a stand and giving it some room to breath is not a bad idea....I've read that those sets are not meant to be as 'close' to the Wall as most wall mounts put them....so even a wall-mount with a hinge that let's one swing the set away from the wall when in use is not a bad idea. But certainly fans will help.
