Sorry, It took a while to get back to you, I unplugged my Fridge, Removed my clock off the wall. Turned Off my Air conditioner, Water Heater, and Removed the biggest noise source my kids and Wife. I have performed this at Night when the AC is Cleaner, In the Day time also.

My Power Comes from the wall to my Circuit Breaker Panel which is MAx 30 Feet away.
My power from the wall Measues 121Volts AC, Netural to Ground is 0.38 volts
I could give the Osscilliscope view of my AC signal but the long story short is I can still hear something and Pioneer's Repair center (Not an authorized repair center) said there isn't anything wrong. and I Dropped it off and Picked it up so no Shipping damage occurred.

I still believe the cause of this is the Class D Switching Amp. This I think Audioholics alluded to in their review. I prefer the sound of the 1018 over the SC-07. My Speakers are not Hard to drive. They are Klipsch Reference Series. So They are more sensitive to the quality of the amp and Preamp section. Unfortunately I could not borrow an amp to confirm this.

I am trying out the Sony 5400ES right now. I have had it for 2 days now.and I will be taking a lot more time to do a critical test of it. vs the 1018 VS SC-07.

I also have the VSX-1018AH and the SC-07. Since you prefer the sound of the 1018, I would be happy to trade my 1018 for your SC-07. That way we would both be happy, right?:)

    Nice try. :D
I actually have a pending offer on the SC-07. My comparison to the Sony is looking very good.

Just finished watching Batman with it. The SC-07 has more dynamic slam but the Sony has a way with the sound. It makes the instruments sound real. Drums cymbals, Kick Drums and the voices Clear and detailed with out sounding boxy.
The Sony does need to be turned up more to attain the same volume but it has a wider sound stage. my speakers in 2 channel actually disappear and it seems like the music is coming from the center channel but it isn't. I honestly didn't expect this from Sony.
