Hello Guys and Gals I have a slight problem that maybe you could help me with if possible. For some reason I can't get on a website/forum that I frequent. When I try it sends me to a blank screen or various other websites but when I try it on someone else's computer there is no problem....For the record I can get on any site I want to except this one.I am using a Macbook if this helps......Thanks in advance....I am sure it's simple but I suck at computer stuff.

try another browser, you probably can delete history and try again that should fix it.

Sound like you might have a redirector running (spyware). Try running Malwarebytes Anti Malware to give it a cleanup. It's a free download. Google for a link.

Mac's rarely get that. Like someone said, if you're running Safari, try it with Firefox- or the other way round. Also, clear your cache.

Did you try another browser as suggested? It's possible someone hijacked your router. Did you try it on your computer but from a different internet connection? Have others tried it using YOUR internet connection but their own computer?
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

If they hijacked it why is it only doing this on 1 site only and not others?.I have not tried it with someone else's computer on my connection.

Router redirects can behave in strange ways.

Here's one way to test it : assumign you're using a router, right now your internet connection goes from a modem to the router. Disconnect that wire from the router, and plug it directly into your computer, so it's just a straight ethernet connection from MODEM to your laptop. Then try the site. If it works, then your router is compromised, and you should reset it to its factory settings.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Type that ip address in your address bar in see if it pulls up a page. This is the ip address of that page.

Type that ip address in your address bar in see if it pulls up a page. This is the ip address of that page.
This is what it pulls up...Great Success !
Apache is working on your cPanel® and WHM™ Server
If you can see this page, then the people who manage this server have installed cPanel and WebHost Manager (WHM) which use the Apache Web server software and the Apache Interface to OpenSSL (mod_ssl) successfully. They now have to add content to this directory and replace this placeholder page, or else point the server at their real content.

    ATTENTION!

If you are seeing this page instead of the site you expected, please contact the administrator of the site involved. (Try sending an email to <webmaster@domain>.) Although this site is running cPanel, WebHost Manager, and Apache software it almost certainly has no other connection to cPanel Inc. or the Apache Group. Please do not send mail about this site or its contents to cPanel Inc. or the Apache Group.

    About cPanel:

cPanel is a leading provider of software for the webhosting industry. If you would like to learn more about cPanel please visit our website at www.cpanel.net. Please be advised that cPanel Inc. is not a web hosting company, and as such has no control over content found elsewhere on this site.

    About Apache HTTP Server:

The Apache HTTP Server is an open source web server which powers many of the worlds web sites. The Apache HTTP server is part of the Apache Group's many influential projects. Their efforts have helped shape much the world wide web, and they continue to be a dominating force in the web hosting industry.

That's what I got to so it does appear it's a DNS issue. I'm not sure why it didn't pull up the actual page. Most websites will do that when you put in the ip address.

I'll try to do some research on that trojan.

    With ping of course... :)

Open terminal, type in the following command:

    ping 70.85.181.74

You should get something like this in return:

    sami@keminmaa:~$ ping 70.85.181.74
    PING 70.85.181.74 (70.85.181.74) 56(84) bytes of data.
    64 bytes from 70.85.181.74: icmp_seq=1 ttl=50 time=23.2 ms
    64 bytes from 70.85.181.74: icmp_seq=2 ttl=50 time=22.9 ms
    64 bytes from 70.85.181.74: icmp_seq=3 ttl=50 time=23.1 ms
    64 bytes from 70.85.181.74: icmp_seq=4 ttl=50 time=27.4 ms

Then do the same with the address:

    ping diecastxchange.com
    sami@keminmaa:~$ ping diecastxchange.com
    PING diecastxchange.com (70.85.181.74) 56(84) bytes of data.
    64 bytes from 4a.b5.5546.static.theplanet.com (70.85.181.74): icmp_seq=1 ttl=50 time=23.5 ms
    64 bytes from 4a.b5.5546.static.theplanet.com (70.85.181.74): icmp_seq=2 ttl=50 time=23.2 ms
    64 bytes from 4a.b5.5546.static.theplanet.com (70.85.181.74): icmp_seq=3 ttl=50 time=24.0 ms
    64 bytes from 4a.b5.5546.static.theplanet.com (70.85.181.74): icmp_seq=4 ttl=50 time=23.0 ms

Nmap shows http port to be open, but I don't get the website to come up either.
    sami@keminmaa:~$ nmap -PN 70.85.181.74

It seems the www.diecastxchange.com site is having some issues.

Try Googling for "diecastxchange.com"; the "Diecast Forums" and a number of the site's sections come up, such as:
    - Diecast Forums Home
    - DX "For Sale" Diecast Classifieds
    - Kyosho
    - AUTOart Diecast Cars DX Diecast Want Ads
    - Minichamps Paul's Model Art
    - CMC
    - fUT Models

I can also see some Google-cached pages, but the links themselves do not open directly.
