Too new I guess. I looked at it, ("keyboard" is too small) but I'll skip it for now since my current phone works just fine.

It's certainly gotten good reviews everywhere I've seen, but I don't know anyone who's picked one up yet.

Given my experience with Samsungs, if that's what you have now, it ca'nt possibly be any WORSE, so I say go for it :)
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I bought mine on June 6th and both my wife and i have them. They are great phones, first smart phone for me but i have no real issues with it. I was looking at the Iphone and the G1 and ended up with the PRE. Plus i have been with sprint for 11 years. take a look at precentral.net . there are a few trolls on that site that complain about nothing but overall a good site. any other questions let me know.

Some say the key board is small but i have large hands and i have no issues typing on it. type at the same speed that i would on a bb or iphone.

Might want to give it a while- I saw something like 30% of people who got them had already swapped theirs out for another due to discoloration, broken parts, dead pixels, etc. One of my friends already had his break in under a week. I'm sure they'll debug it pretty quickly, but you don't want to be in the beta group.

I am on my 3rd one, my wife on her first. I still think it is a good product just got to get some of the bugs out. My first Pre has a small issue that should have been an easy fix but sprint had me do some configs that bricked my phone so i had to exchange it. Second phone when recieved i knew i had to get a new one cause it had some small issues with it, wiggly screen. third one no issues.

I'm looking at some Pre sites... webOS is linux based, sah-weet! I still think I'll hold off a bit on getting one. Let's see what the App developers come up with.

I have one. I've had it for about a month now. I really like it. Thought about breaking my contract and getting the new 3GS iphone, but I tried the Pre and decided to stick with it. The apps are still slow to come out, but I see no reason why they won't be out in full force soon enough. The webOS is slick, I personally really like having a physical keyboard (its just barely big enough), but what really sets it apart from the iphone for me is being able to multitask. I love being able to switch between apps and go back to another one without having to load it up and my search or other data.
