God what a suck ending to a great race

So this race started out as the typical "everybody follow Jimmy around for 398 or 400 laps" race but thanks to the double file restarts it turned out to be a great race.

That was until the end when a guy that wrecks every race and never finishes higher than 30th, yet is touted as being the next Richard Petty, wins on a rain shortened race by not pitting. I mean this guy was in the back, as usual, the whole race and when everybody else came to pit, he stayed out and then they called the race on rain after waiting a whole 15 minutes after the rain started.

I hate endings like this. I dont mind a fuel mileage or rain stoppage win if the guy was a contender all day but some chicken **** move like this, by a totally undeserving driver makes me want to puke. Such a great race to have such a limp ending.

Plus the fact that he looks like a 12 year old girl bugs the crap out of me too.

OK, just needed to vent a little. Its raining so I cant run outside and kick the neighbors dog in frustration!

I personally can't stand any race that gets called for rain. After all, they are planning fuel/tires etc for a full race. It's kind of a kick in the nuts to all of a sudden be told "bring em in, we're stopping this deal." I doubt that Logono actually feels like he earned it too. The kid does have SOME talent and will probably be a great driver in another 5 years (I hope anyways).

Why does NASCAR puss out because of rain? F1 has two kinds of wet-weather tires for when it rains.

I'll take a guess...F1 has insane downforce which helps in the rain to where Nascar has very little compared to F1.

Thats part of it,but the restricted visibility and continuous high speeds on ovals makes it suicide.Even high downforce Indy cars will not race ovals in the rain.

We've already had a thread about rain with Nascar. It was right after Daytona.

Yes but Jeff Gordon won 13 races in a single season and is a 4 time champion and would have 6 championships if they hadnt gone to the chase format. I dont mind somebody that is always a contender winning on a fuel mileage race or a rain shortened race. I hate it when a guy that never finishes higher than 30th wins on a technicality.

On a side note-youre right, these NASCAR drivers are a bunch of runts. Most of them are like 5'7"! My boy Tony is the only one that weighs over 125 probably but thats because of his fat ****! If he would lose the 50 pounds he's overweight, he wouldve won 10 races by now cause his car would be faster.

aren't these the same guys that say Danica Patrick needs to add 75 pounds to her car because SHE has a weight advantage? Most of the current crop of NASCAR drivers would have neve gotten a ride if Cale/Dale SR/Richard Petty were still driving.
