Last night my wife and I went to see a Pink Floyd tribute band (Floyd Factor). I had bought the tickets when I first found out they were comming to town. As a result we got front row seats. It was amazing to me that the whole front row was filled with kids, with the exception of us. The theater, which seats approximatly 650 people was a mix of about 1/3 kids and 2/3 my age or older. It is a real testiment to the timeless nature of their music.
The band incidently did a very good job, playing stuff from the early days, dark side of the moon, animals and even a great job on Echos.

I would really like to see David Gilmour live but that seems unlikely since the death of Richard Wright.

Anyway, we had a great time and if this band comes to your town, it was worth the price of admission.

I haven't heard them but I've seen Australian Pink Floyd twice....they sounded just like the album...great show. If Floyd Factor comes this way I'll check them out.

Thanks Joe, I went to their site. If they come this way again I'm sure we'll check the Austrailian Pink Folyd out.

I got backstage tickets 3 times for the Australian Pink Floyd. Not only are they great musicians but friendly and great people as well.

Worth the trip to see them.
