CS20 and Lsi25s, how's the timbre matching?

I know the LsiC is the ideal match for the my Lsi25s. However, I was wondering if the CS20 might be a decent and CHEAPER alternative. Has anyone ever tried this combo? My thinking is that both the TSi series and LSi series are more laid back than, say, the RTi series, so maybe they would be OK together. Right now I'm running a phantom center. At times the dialogue is clear, and at other times it is not. Any opinions?

You could also use a single LSi7 or LSi9(preferred).

with my experience it is always best to have a matched front sound stage. and your center channel is the most important speaker in your HT. i wouldn't skimp on that one.

Thanks for your opinions. I guess if no one else has ever done it (used a CS20 with the Lsi fronts), it may not be the best idea. Oh well, the extra money may pay for itself if I ever sell, since some buyers will prefer buying the entire front.
