Ok, so sometime back I collected a car trunk full of albums. I kept those that I liked and recognized, but I still have a large amount of vinyl from artists I don't know or care about.
They are yours, all you have to do is say you want them. I only ask that you pay for the shipping, or at least some of the shipping.
I won't make a full list, I'll just grab a couple of handfulls now and then and post them. The next stop for them will probably be the dumpster.
So, in no particular order, here is the first batch:
Boots Randolph....Boots with Brass
Fausto Papetti...The singing Saxophone
Ravel Bolero
Brailowsky...Chopin Polonaises
The Tchaikovsky Choir
Ballroom Orchestra...Jerry DeVilliers
The Blue Danube...Philadelphia Orchestra
Neapolitan Mandolins
The New Ebb Tide
Ray Conniff....Somewhere My Love
Timi Yuro....Hurt
Dean Martin....The Lush Years
The Music of Rodgers and Hammerstein
The Cascading Voices of the Hugo & Luigi Chorus
Vladimir Horowitz
Rimskh-Korsakoff....Scheherazade
The Jolson Story...Rainbow round my shoulder
We Are The World
Pop Fever...All Star Pop Orchestra
Pappy Hanahan...Piano Bastringue
The Era of Jim Reeves
Tom Jones...Green green grass of home
Hello, I'm Johnny Cash
Fats Domino...When my dreamboat comes home
Reverie (8-album box set..french)
Great Original Hits of the 50's and 60's (8 album box set)
Ok, that's it for now. If there is anything you want, I can check on the condition of the lp. Btw...those 2 box sets look like they've never been out of the sleeves.

Hi Beemer...I didn't grow up listening to classical music so it's not "in my blood" so to speak.
That's not to say I don't enjoy some classical pieces. I just don't know who the players are when it comes to classical.
Here's my take on it: Let's say I have 100 rock lp's to choose from in a batch. I can pretty much pick out the good stuff and leave the crap behind. But, if I have to choose the good stuff from a batch of 100 classical lp's, I wouldn't know which are the good ones and which are the crap ones. There are crap classical lp's too, aren't there?
I would need guidance, someone to tell me, "hey, listen to this, it's great".
I do like Sarah Brightman's stuff, and own almost all her cd's and DVD's, probably because her music crosses over from classical, to pop to rock...a nice mix that makes things interesting.
I appreciate the Ormandy suggestion, I'll have a listen to it before sending it off.
Don't forget to pm me your info.

Hello Joe:
PM sent, and a big THANK YOU! Classical has it's hits and misses as does any genre. My tastes in Classical lean towards the larger orchestral pieces, not small ensembles, baroque or chamber music.
Watch for conductors like Munch, Ormandy, Fiedler (although the Pops did put out some dreck too). Composers I enjoy include: Saint Saens, Mahler, Stravinsky, Mussorgsky, later Beethoven, Gershwin (Rhapsody in Blue), Bizet, Smetana and more.
If you decide to pursue a bit of classical I can make some musical suggestions based on my likes if you so desire. My appreciation of classical music didn't start until just after I turned 40, and was looking to expand my musical horizons a bit. A full range large orchestral piece can convey as much emotion and power as any great rock anthem for me now.
Hit me up if you want suggestions, and THANKS AGAIN on the vinyl Karma!
Best,
