While I did not go kicking and screaming, I did shuffle my feet when my wife dragged me to see this flick. Fortunately, it was a hoot. Sure, it's Devil Wears Prada + While You Were Sleeping but the execution was so well done I had to love it.

Not quite up there with The Hangover, but fun nevertheless so that makes two great date movie I'd recommend this summer. What makes this one a gem was my very low expectation and a great performance by the entire cast. Reynolds and Bullock were great.

Rental or date flick. I found it very enjoyable and would gladly place the Blu-ray next to The Devil Wears Prada and Notting Hill on my shelf. Ignore if those two movies make you puke.

Agreed - One of the best chick flicks i have seen in quite awhile. While seeing in the theater is not required, it is one of the few that was not at all a waste of money either.

Well worth checking out if at all into that sort of thing. (and not bad even if your not)

+2 for the man dreading the movie, and walking out with a smile on my face.

Its not a real thinker, but Betty White sure did make me laugh. And honestly if there is a chick flick with Ryan Reynolds in it, I will almost see it everytime. I just really like that guy for some reason.

One thing I have to say is how naked Sandra got in this, I mean WOW. Seeing her at the local gym so many times, I can say she is a pure beauty with no make-up and in sweats.

How dare you post a thread about a movie when we have our own "resident" movie reviewer present!
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Yep, her and her hubbie (Jesse James) work out at the same gym I do. I've worked out next to either one on several occasions.

I look at it this way, if there is already a thread on the film, why start another? Keeping the thread count down is much easier, no matter the post.

Posted on that other thread...it seems that everyone agrees with me on this one. Funny movie, great chemistry, was very well written and executed. I've got a son that reminds me of RR (+ a beer gut) and I've always liked him. I was surprised that SB at 45 could pull this one off, but she did.
