Place front left/right on 45 angled wall
Hello,
I have an odd placement situation. I bought the tc80i and was wondering if the following placement would work.
I have a projection screen hitting a 106" screen. The front wall where my screen sits has a 45 degree angle, about 3 feet of sheet rock there until it hits the ceiling.
Can I place my tc80i (used as front L and R, have a tc265i as center)speakers above the screen on this 45 degree angled wall? It would point directly at the sitting area for high freq sounds.
Thanks.

Welcome to the club.
Personally, I think that might create a bit of an odd soundstage, but I'm not sure. I was in a demo room a while back that had ceiling mounted fronts that had a directional adjustment on them (Tannoys, maybe?), and that soundstage sounded OK in there, so maybe that would work fine. I'm sure someone who knows better than I will chime in soon."Don't forget to change your politician. They are like diapers they need to be changed regularly, and for the same reason."
