So I have this urge...

To use the speakers I have laying around and put them in a cabinet. I have the mids, tweets and x-overs from 2 M3's and a 8" or 10" non powered Polk sub (still in it's box). I wanted to use them for a small bedroom setup, but thought of doing a single cabinet (maybe a corner unit, maybe not) with the sub down-firing, and the mids / tweets at angles (I want it to still be R&L channels if that makes sense)..... does this make any sense or sound like a terrible idea?

no such thing as a terrible idea when it comes to speakers(except bose) just terrible sound... I say go for it! If nothing else it can serve as a learning experience for next time.

Sounds good. seal off the sub from the m3's if you can.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.
