JESUS CHRIST ON THE CROSS...
Zombie does the remake (which can't hold a candle to Carpenter's original) and now he does II, which just makes one scratch their head and wonder what is going on with all these reboots; FRIDAY THE 13th is staged for a sequel (based on the remake) while STAR TREK is getting ready to be a sequel which won't be anything NEARLY as effective as THE WRATH OF KHAN...do we really need franchise re-boots for this "new generation"?
When I first saw the trailer for Halloween II (this remake version), I thought Zombie was going to go the way of Tommy Lee Wallace's original Halloween II, in which we have Mike stalking Laurie in the hospital -- but it appears to be a fresh new vision.
I don't know what to make of all these, being someone who was raised on the ORIGINAL versions of ALL these films...:rolleyes:
