Yet I think most of the wireless systems out there are HTIBs which I wouldn't suggest to anyone. However, most companies are starting to offer such technology (IE: Polk new PSWi225 subwoofer). Last weekend I have done some testing using an external wireless sender to a pair of powered monitors with greath success. My next step is to do the same with my powered subwoofer. Wireless speakers may at this time limit your choice of speakers therefore, external wireless sender might be an option (of course depending on the amount of channel desired as most sender normally have only 4 different "F" channels available). The 2 fronts and center wouldn't need to be wireless, neither the sub if placed up front. Only the 2 or 4 rear of a 5.1 or 7.1 system may require such. Oh, don't forget that each sender has left and right channels also therefore only 2 senders would be required for the 4 rear of a 7.1. With such option, one would have greather speaker options.DARE TO SOAR:

Rocket fish wireless extender (best buy..$110)....works with all smaller speakers. Class D amp....25 watts each I think.
Works great for my RM101's to match my Surroundbar 50. 7.1!! -

I guess the above is th one you are talking about? Good finding, I'll get one to compare with what I am presently testing. Maybe you could comment on the guy's review? IE: Hissing, background noise... Any issues if someone crosses path between the Tx and Rx? I guess the 25 watts amps is sufficent for rear??
Humm, a lot more expensive in Canada
