I would like to turn my attention to a better power strip/source. I have been upgrading my power cables and feel I am not taking advantage of the improvements in cables.

At the moment I am using a Home Depot Belkin 8 outlet surge protector.

The PS Audio Juicebar II is something I am considering.

ANy thoughts or suggestions?

WHat about something used on Audiogon ?

Thanks,

I will have to apolagize again as neither one comes with a the balanced isolation transformer which is what you want. That is the way to go.Try to find something that has a balanced design>>(I doubt you can find something with 8 outlets for cheap.)A ps audio UPC-200 would be good if you can find one,, or two since you need 8 outlets.
How about one of these >>http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?powrcond&1249087644&/Ps-audio-quintet......Maybe you can wait for another to pop up if this one sells.

thsmith, what are you looking for? A surge suppressor? A line conditioner?

The Juicebar II is neither of the above, its just a quality non-current limiting outlet extender. It uses the same Power port outlets sold separately for the wall.

They have a very tight grip-no worry about loose cables or poor contact.

What do you need 8 outlets for? Perhaps you might consider 2 dedicated outlets, each with its own Juicebar. Of course if you also get a conditioner, its likely you not need to use all 8 outlets on a single Juicebar anyway (if that's the way you want to go).
