Dodd ELP

This is just kind of a feeler for the moment, as I'm still working on getting the funds together for a pre. It shouldn't be much more than a few weeks before I have the coin though.

I know it's a long shot. These are fairly hard to come by, and most who have them don't want to get rid of them, but I'm looking for a Dodd ELP. I'd prefer one with 2 inputs and 2 outputs, but I'd consider any version of the ELP.

If you've got one you'd be willing to part ways with, post here or shoot me a PM, and we'll see if we can work something out.

Don't leave out the Write pre. IMHO it is better, and it can be had near the price of a Dodd.

The Write pre? I've never heard of it, a quick Google search didn't turn anything up. If you'd be kind enough to point in the direction of some info...I'll definitely check it out.



I'll also entertain offers for other pre-amps in a similar price range. My limit is approximately $400, but I'd go a bit over for the right pre. Less than $400 would be even better.:)

I think I figured it out...did you mean the Wright preamp?;)

I've managed to find some info about it, I'll have to research it a bit. It's looking very interesting so far. Thanks Ben.:)

Sorry man. I am in design mode;) You are correct. I would take a Wright any day over a Dodd.

Looks like an interesting piece, though from everything I've been reading, it's kind of finicky as far as setup goes...

I couldn't find any currently for sale, but it seems like the average price is around 650ish. That's a bit more than I'm wanting to spend right now. I'll keep looking around and see if I find any for a bit cheaper.

I'll definitely be keeping it in mind though in either case.
