Lights Out, Furniture Moved...

Ooh baby, I'm in audio nirvana! (If only for an evening!)

My family is out of town, so I moved all the furniture out of the stinkin' way, turned of the lights, lit one candle, cranked up the volume and wow, pure sweetness.

First, Willie Nelson's "Teatro" (hey, even if you're not a Willie fan, this one's awesome!), The Eagles "Out of Eden" and then one of my all time favorites, Mindy Smith's "One Moment More."

Wow. Even though I can't position my system for optimum sound, what I CAN do still sounds terrific nonetheless.

Had a great audio evening. Long overdue. Reminds me of just how much I love listening - really listening - to music.

Wow.

And thats pretty hard to do when your significant other is sitting there talking so much if you put a wind turban in front of them they could power a small New Hampshire town, I know.

Well, there IS that. I just have to move a lot of furniture, but you might have it tougher.

I'm still looking forward to having the veritable MAN CAVE! But for now, tonight actually, I'm digging it!

    Woo hoo!

Wind turban? We should Sikh out new sources . .:D

A day alone in front of the rig, is great decompression. The only other activity that clears my mind as well, is a cruise on a bike. vrroom vrroom, not pedal, pedal. Sounds like you had a good day!

Wow! Add to this wonderful time an incredible lightning storm and IT JUST DON'T GET NO BETTER THAN THIS!

Well, at least not in my experience anyway...

    Oops!!!

Oooooops! The storm got incredibly intense & I did nothing to protect my system! Massive lightning, thunder & hail - my daughter's car alarm went off! - & I was just transfixed! It's still going on, so I'll unplug everything!

    Thanks for the warning!

Congratulations BF! I might have to check out some of those tunes myself some time. If it were me, I'd probably fall asleep, then wake up with a start and knock over the candle! J/K!
