I can't resist on a great deal package of new Denon DP-500M Turntable and DL-160 Cartridge. Here are some pictures...
I hate manual turntable because it is too much work for me, but it sounds so GOOD with dead silent operation..

Sure.. Tony... It was $600.00 for both turntable and cartridge... I think it is a steal because both are new in boxes...
Honestly, I found that I like this turntable better than Project RM9 that I used to have with Sumiko Blackbird cartridge and my buddy's Music Hall 9.1. It is just my opinion... not to offend anyone who owns Project or Music Hall. -
That is one pretty nice looking table. I need to get one soon.Sunfire TGP, Sunfire Cinema Grand, Sunfire 300~2 (2), Sunfire True Sub (2),Carver ALS Platinum, Carver AL III, TFM-55, C-19, C-9, TX-8, SDA-490t, SDA-390t

Not familier with that TT but it sure is pretty. The DL-160 is a sweet cart. I have one on my Technics SL-1300Speakers: SDA-1C (most all the goodies)
Preamp: Joule Electra LA-150 MKII SE
Amp: Wright WPA 50-50 EAT KT88s
Analog: Marantz TT-15S1 MBS Glider SL| Wright WPP100C Amperex BB 6er5 and 7316 & WPM-100 SUT
Digital: Mac mini 2.3GHz dual-core i5 8g RAM 1.5 TB HDD Music Server Amarra (memory play) - USB - W4S DAC 2
Cables: Mits S3 IC and Spk cables| PS Audio PCs -

Yes, the cart is very nice.. and I like the cartridge alignment template that comes with it. It is easy tool to use. -
Humm, I did not get an alignment template with my Denon.
Never mind I think you were referring to the TT not the cart.Speakers: SDA-1C (most all the goodies)

That DL-160 is a sweet cart. Do yourself a favor and have the TT serviced if it hasn't been done so in a long time. The cart alignment tool is pretty good but I'd like to use a respectable protractor and some software like Visual Analyzer 8.14 connected to a computer or laptop via the line input on the laptop and the line output/tape monitor on your rec/preamp. This is a sweet way to really dial in a TT. You will need a test LP with tones to do this but it can make a terrific difference in performance. Easy to use.

Thanks all for nice words and advice.
I am going to get Turntable Basics' Phono Cartridge Alignment Tool and Stylus Force Gauge, shortly.
