Needless to say, I am very excited to hear them hooked up to my rig. I listened to them before I brought them home and they sounded great, but there's nothing like hearing them in your own place. My biggest dilema now is deciding what song to play firstPrimary System

I posed them quickly for the photo - so I wasn't paying attention to L / R. Don't worry, I'll be sure they are correct before they get any juice.Primary System

No, he has them set up correctly. The SDA drivers always go to the outside edge. Your 2.3's will look the opposite because your SDA drivers are the 2 in the middle of the row of 4.Political Correctness'.........defined

Congrats!!!
Both pairs of Polks look like they are in great shape!
Those 2A's are in especially nice shape. I bought them new in 1987, I think, and they are about as close to new condition as possible. A good friend of mine, when he heard about the 2.3TL's, immediately committed to buy them. I have such a long attachment to them, I wasn't even sure I wanted to let them go, but I really have no room, and at least I know they will go to a good home. I'm sure that once the big ones are up and running I'll soon forget about the 2A's.Primary System

Don't bet on that. SDA's are something one can never get enough of.The Gear... The "donut" drivers, one above and one below the two SDA drivers have weights attached to them to slow down the driver movement. This was done to help improve the mid-bass on those speakers as Polk felt there was too much of it.Political Correctness'.........defined

I can understand that. I said the same thing to the guy that's taking those 2A's. Rest assured, these newly adopted monsters will be well taken care of, and will look the same 20 years from nowPrimary System

Different tweeters, different mid-drivers, different crossovers and different internal bracing.Political Correctness'.........defined

Nice grab. I think they may be my favorite of the SDA line.I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D
