Agreed. But he asked for it. High price and a for sale ad on post 25/6 and that's asking for a thread crapping.

Or rather then feed into this, just ignore it rather then crap on it and let it die on its own. We all saw it coming, doesn't mean it needs to turn into another 22952983095329 page **** storm.

I wonder if there would be thread crapping going on if it were a pair of sda's going for cheap.

He only wants $1000 for the A9's which is a steal considering they're hard to find used and in great shape.

I don't see what the issue is here. He is not breaking the rules.

If you are not interested in buying, just stay off the thread.

If you are interested in buying, then do it at your own risk, as common sense dictates.

Wow never thought people would pitch a fit for doing what i had to do to offer these to people who appreciate them as much as I do! I Switch gear quite often and have always tried to offer my gear to the people who appreciate it most for obvious reasons. Sorry for ruffling any feathers it wasn't my intention! Matt D

It's all good... Good luck with your sale.

Keep in mind you posted enough just to put your stuff up then you quit posting. Even though i agree with what a couple of the guys said that you did follow the rules, I still find it wrong that you did it just to put up your gear, and really did not care about your other post's and the guys that gave you feedback. This is just my opinion.

Peace, and good luck with your sale.

By the way I love the A9's

    Larry.

good luck, mdoug. Asking $1800 probably made folks feel "used" (MSRP+$50). $1000 for the pair should get you many cheers (or at least one).
    Good luck,

No, he promised them to me for $1000 , and I was to pick them up on a Saturday but when I called to confirm a time he said someone came with more money so he sold them. I got my A9's from Polk with a warranty so I'm happy

 Maybe CP should consider changing the post count to like 150, or so.....by the time they post 150 one word/useless posts, they'd be reported and banned. In a perfect world, of course.

Sorry to hear about the d-baggery on the seller's part, and congrats on the new Polks.

Yeah, I don’t know about that one.
This guy beefed up his post count to sell them in the first place. I saw in coming a mile away. In fact I inquired about them when he had them posted only on Craigslist, and never responded until I said something on CP. Doug blew the sale with me right then. I knew then I would rather wait on Polk to offer some more refurbs then to drop a nice chunk of cash with some flaky cat. The guy hasn’t posted anything since he padded his posts in the first place.

I just have to add that when this guy had them listed on CL I was emailing him and he said that he was asking $1000.00 and had them sold and was driving up to Milwaukee to deliver them. Leroy,I thought you were the one getting them! He backstabbed ya.He told me how he worked for Tweeter for 10 years and bought out some of there stock. Hey Leroy, glad you were able to get your speakers anyway and I was able to find a mint pair of RTI12's for $500.00 so me happy too:):) That's the trouble with CL

Ouch, all this talk of upping post counts doesn't look good for me, not that I sell anything anyways..I am the original packrat. But just incase, it is a nice feature.

Hell, as long as I can least post to possibly buy it's all good for me.
