I have a couple of low end speakers that I thought I'd offer here even though there's a slim chance there will be any interest.

Optimus Pro CS-5 center channel speaker. Excellent shape
Optimus Dipole speakers. no model # as they came as part of a sub/sat system. Pretty scratched up, too. They are about 6" tall and kind of triangular in shape. Probably weigh about 5-7lbs each.

Also, I have some very nice Green Bay Packers jackets and sweatshirts. There are 3 pullover jackets/windbreakers and 2 sweatshirts. They are several years old, but all are in excellent shape. I probably haven't worn any of these more than 5 times.

Shipping will be from 75056 if you'd like to get a quote.

God I wish I had some extra money for shipping!!

Life-time Packers fan here (got it from my dad and his dad), and I really need to expand my Packers clothing selection!

If you get bored and feel like shipping 1 or all of the clothes to 97128, let me know!

Probably should ask what size are the Packers clothes?

sometime next summer... and no, a Viking would rather commit suicide than wear anything yellow/green, much less something that says Packers on it:)

I don't know and the labels are long gone. They sound very good. If I pull a driver, would anyone here know from the model number?

You really don't need to pull the driver, the LX-5 is fairly unmistakable due to the "domed" top where the Di-Pole Linaeum tweeters sit. (and has a 5" woofer) If you could upload a picture anyone familiar with the speaker can recognize it. As far as I know the LX-4 is a Mono-pole set up and does not have the good tweeter, (and has 4" woofer)

I won't argue with you on it, but I don't want someone to buy an LX-4 setup thinking they're going to get the Dipoles either. The LX-4 and LX-7 came with mono-pole tweeters the LX-5, LX-8 as well as the Floor Standing LX-10 all had the Dipole.
I know the Linnaeum tweeter was available as a stand alone unit sold as the Optimus Dipole Tweeter (part 40-1389) maybe someone added it to the LX-4 you saw?

Here is the parts list for the LX-4

I bought them new from Rat Shack, with Linaeum tweeter. It was the only reason I would buy a pair of those.

I sold them to the man who runs AudioKarma quite some time ago.

Don't know what to say to that George, LX-4 were compacts. My brother worked for Radio Shack all through the 90's and I never saw a LX-4 with the dipole tweeters, didn't think they would even fit on them. Here is another source that disputes this. http://www.stereophile.com/budgetcomponents/695ratshack/#

I'm wondering if there is a possibility that you had the LX-5 with the wrong label on it.
I'm not spoiling for an argument, lol just trying to figure this out is all.

I owned the LX-5's and later the stand alone Optimus Dipole Tweeters (brother's discounts 'ya know or I wouldn't have bought the LX-5s at all) there were a lot better speakers around for the money, but we took the tweeters off the LX-5 and mounted them on other speakers. Then Radio Shack started selling the Optimus Dipole Tweeter as a Stand Alone Component and once word got out they quickly sold out of them.

Dave, this is a picture of the Tweeter, it would be sitting on the top of your speakers if it is one of the models referred to. http://cgi.ebay.com/Pair-Linaeum-Add-On-Dipole-Audio-Tweeters-Optimus-NIB_W0QQitemZ390157507681QQcmdZViewItemQQptZSpeakers_Subwoofers?hash=item5ad7331c61

These do not have the Linaeum tweeters.

I don't know about the rest of the back-n-forth on the LX-4 and 5's, but if I had to bet on someone's memory, it would be George's...

The ones Dave got are a pair from a Sat/Sub system. I don't really think they have an individual model number, but rather a model number that would identify the Sat/Sub system.

I don't have any other speakers. I do still have the center channel and the LX5, but they are no longer in working order. Would probably cost more to fix them than they're worth.

Bears fan here, wondering if the packer stuff is gone yet....we are going green and want to stop putting down newspapers for the dogs and use some fabric that we can wash over and over.
