Any comments on this pre? Is 375.00 a good deal?

Thanks.

The Rotel will give you a more forward sound, big on treble and big on bass. I find the Rotel sound a bit too fatiguing.
Rotel will be a BIG change, one you may very well like but also one which has the potential to not be to your liking.

I used a RC-1070 with a RB-1070 and it was a very good combo - my first foray into separates. I especially like the simple controls - no balance or bass/treble - less controls to allow noise to enter. Their contour control switch was all I needed to change the sound. $375 is a avg price- this pre has a good phono stage, too. The original price of $500 some would say was good for the phono stage alone.

Nice entry level pre amp. I owned the 1070 before going to the 1082 and didn't care for the lack of adjustability with the bass/treble controls.

The Nak will sound better, IMO. Glad you're enjoying it.
