Affordable good looking cables.

Hey Matt, have you thought about the Magic Pebbles? Your system could have the look, the shine, reflections and a small vile that would complete the look of the great looking wires you seek to possess.
Here, I corrected that for you. Though we all would like to thank you for your service to our beloved country, you have come to the wrong board to ask for good "looking" cables. If you are looking to improve the sound of your rig, that's one thing.....but looks?
Matt I would never get upset with those who's little bit of knowldge makes them superior to all others at least in thier own minds. It could have been said without all the sarcasm. It makes me not want to ask questions so that I won't be ridiculed for trying to learn something from those with more knowldge than I of the subject. But than I rant on about nothing

I don't see anything wrong with wanting good-looking cables. Besides, anything that looks good for $150 can't be too shabby, right?
How about lavender?

I'm looking for some good looking cables in about 6-8ft length terminated with Banana plugs. I'm not interested in how a cable "sounds", just want something that looks nice for the living room HT setup. Would like to to keep it under $150/pr.
Here is what I'm looking at now.

Some of the terminology of these cable makers bothers me. What exactly is 'lab grade OFC'? That could be good or bad, I suppose. Maybe for lab purposes, it doesn't have to be 5 or 6 nines. I mean, if we are talking pharmaceuticals, 'lab grade' might have a special meaning. I have the same problem with Kimber using 'ultra pure' and 'hyper pure'. I even emailed them and asked them what it meant. They basically didn't want to tell me, saying the number of 9's is silly. They finally admitted that their 'hyper pure' was probably as good as what others claim is six 9's. At least terms like 'OCC' and 'PCOCC' and 5 or 6 nine's has some meaning, silly or not. :rolleyes:2 channel - Willsenton R8 tube integrated, Holo Audio Spring 3 KTE DAC, audio optimized NUC7i5, Windows 10 Pro/JRiver MC29/Fidelizer Plus 8.7 w/LPS and external SSD drive, PS Audio PerfectWave P3 regenerator, KEF R3 speakers, Rythmik F12SE subwoofer, Audioquest Diamond USB cable, Gabriel Gold IC's, Morrow Audio SP5 speaker cables. honestly, you have to wonder why a moderator from a pretty well known audio board like audioholics would ask such a question at CP. We must either be really smart guys or the agenda of introducing cable threads continues, in any event are we going to have another 5 pages arguing and whining with newbs stirring the pottee about nothing along with riduculous tabs.

Mainly because there isn't such a focus on cables at Audioholics and I figured people here would be able to direct me to more obscure options that are not as prevalent. I cross-posted the question on Audioholics as well, there was no agenda.
I ignored the majority of the jabs taken here but as everyone can see, they kept coming. -
I'm sure any of us would have had the same experience if we went to Aholics asking for advice on good sounding cables, capacitors, CDP's, amps, receivers, etc..."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster.
