Is this a good deal? Should I spend more for a better/newer model?

    I almost sprung for the same, but personally upcharged for the 880 for $30 more. Internally, about the same. The color on the screen is very heplful, as well as the cradle, etc. A lot of my equipment is not RF ready, but it is all is IR ready.
