SRA-SDS update

Road trip to PA yesterday for what was described as SRA-SDS. Turns out the serial #'s identify them as 1.2's
This was the SDA-SRS including a pair of Denon POA 2200's and a Yammie cassette deck and Preamp from Telford PA. One of the POA 2200's needs repair.
The 1.2's are near mint. No issues. 6 states driving in 12 hours. I'm tired....5 hours sleep in 2 days.
Overall I am happy. I expected a pair of SDA-SRS and good fortune led them to be 1.2's

LOL! It gets better!
Upon further examination.......all tweeters SL3000's, all with Aug 1989 dates stamped. The seller was the original owner said he never modded nor replaced any drivers. The crossover plates have no fading whatsoever as well!
It would appear that what I have are 1.2TL's based on these findings. I did not pull the passive or the xover plates to look for the cross brace. The SDA cable is pin/blade, and the screw is present in the back for the wall brace.
S/N's start with 1.2 and are in the high 5000's

What did you pay for those gems if I may ask?

That's just mean. Perhaps a PM would be a better route?
Not mean at all. I never ask what anyone paid for or sold an item for. There cannot be a sale without both a willing seller and a willing buyer.
If in the event I sell them in the future I will expect to recover my cost and the cost of the road trip to get them, nothing more.
Now knowing that what I have were the last in the series, and Polk's flagship speaker, most likely these will see 8 new RDO's, and be here quite a while.
I love vintage, however need for space has had me recently marketing lesser models, and just concentrating on the TOTL items for my own collection.
For example I had a slew of nice vintage receivers, however I am slowly working my way down to keeping only my Sansui G-22000, Pioneer SX-1980 and Kenwood KR-9050. I will also keep a Luxman R-117 as well. Slowly my place is losing the "museum of vintage audio" look, and this has greatly improved the relationship with my wife. there are no luggage handles on hearses!

Congrats.
Thanks!Congrats!
Were these the ones located near Pittsburgh?
Thanks x2~! and yes....Telford PABTW, Beemer you have a serious collection of vinyl. Very nice!
I had to get the vinyl out of the house before the first floor caved in to the basement.
The vinyl is my personal collection + that I used to spin as a DJ back in the day. I still DJ but thankfully all HD based now, no more heavy crates of vinyl or road cases packed with CD's. Currently 12,000+ titles on the wall. I still score decent vinyl when I can.

If I recall correctly, it was $1,250 for everything, amps and speakers and something else. That is of course, unless you got the seller down even further, in which case good job!

You lucky ba**ard! LOL
