Ok just got my GFP-710....sounds seem plenty plenty more refined and elegant.
But when ever I move the bass or treble they seem to almost not do anything are they very suttle in their control or might there be something wrong here?

Cool stuff: Adcom GFA-555, GFP-710, Oppo BDP-83, Monitor 10's w/RDO198s, rebuilt and modded XO: Sonicap/Mundorf topside, Daytons Low.

Do you have the tone bypass switch on?Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

WOOOPSSS.....yup hit the "Tone In" button and walla.....
I like it.
Very nice...
Seems like this combo really compliments the M10s...I can turn the bass down just a tad and treble up a little and wow it's as if there is a whole other level to the M10's I never heard before....much refined.

Makes me want to run and get the RDO 198's....I can't imagine this experience getting better.Cool stuff: Adcom GFA-555, GFP-710, Oppo BDP-83, Monitor 10's w/RDO198s, rebuilt and modded XO: Sonicap/Mundorf topside, Daytons Low.

I knew there had to be someone else out there who uses tone controls.I also like to turn up the treble cause lets be honest. Some CDs like the older ones need some added zip to em.I use the bypass output for vinyl though.SDA-2BTL with custom IC

God loves stereo...good clean, unaltered stereo. That's why God doesn't use tone controls.;)
What kinda rig do you think God has? It's gotta be badass. It probably doesn't even have tone controls.:pThe nirvana inducer-
