Ello fellow Polkies. Who all in here has owned, or heard Pioneer Elite? What are its Pros? Cons? What did you think of it? How was it built? Etc.....Thanks for the replys and input.

    Easy to use, great DSP modes.
    Only rated for speakers rated 6-16ohms nominal input.
    One of the best receivers available.
    Excellant build quality.

    whoah, It dont play 8 ohm speakers? Wow.....that totally sucks, I really need to get some $$ and get some adcom's man. Plz tell me it'll play 8 ohm speakers.

    It's rated for anything between 6 to 16 ohms, last time I checked, 8 ohms was in there. You'll be fine.

    I hope it does, I think the only the older models play 6 ohms and down. The newer models arnt listed any ohms. So I guess they play 8 and down? no? someone talk to me im shakin in my shoes man.

    your right, man Im so effin excited I cant lay still!!!!!!!! gosh darnit! today has been a good day tho. I got new computer speakers, well used but I got em for free. That now makes 3 pairs of computer speakers I won, 2 are laying in my closet. I also got the other door for my entertainment center fixed and it will get put on this weekend.     You know the pic below would be relivant, but the ear is way to high for the human body. Usually the ear lines up with the mid eyes and stops of the bottum of the nose. and the ear below it like matched with the mofos forehead............

    President Bush just sent me an email. He says that you did alright with choosing Pioneer Elite. He has researched it himself and as you know he is a knowledgeable individual. He found it to be an excellent piece of equipment.

    You may be wondering why I am sending this and not him. He told me to tell you that he wanted no direct link between you and him after the incident with your computer. He has enough on his plate with Iraq and terrorism without congressional hearings for misapropriation of government resources.

    PS: He feels bad about this but told me to give you a heads-up on the **** **** he had the CIA plant on both you and your parents computer. :lol:
