Do we have a chat channel?

Just a thought,

i'm sure a lot of us are up all the time. Do we have an IRC chat channel? I used to run #homeaudio on dalnet but I figured with as many users as we have here, why don't we have a channel with live chat that we can all idle in and ask questions at will? Or just shoot the breeze.

I've been on this forum for a whole 2 seconds and I can tell you most like the anonymity that the internet provides. I may be wrong but if chat was an option that people wanted it would have been setup by now. Members that have been here for any length of time contact each other on the phone all the time. I would chat away if there was an official chat room. Chatting and interacting with different folks from all over the world does sound like fun though. Might be a good idea but then again I have been drinking,lol. I drink maybe 2-4 times a year and right now I am pretty frickin' blasted!! Taking me forever to just type this and trying to focus with one eye shut.:eek:

Chat is pretty anonymous, but then again most people on here like getting to know fellow Polksters...

I would love to set up a channel on Efnet for all to come and chat.

I prefer live chat to get to know people and have a good discussion. Things that require longer discussion or thought I keep on the forum.
