Russ is still around occasionally. The rest, I haven't been keeping track of. A lot of people are getting sick of the drama that doesn't include them.

I just keep my nose out of what doesn't concern me... brush it off, and keep talking about what I'm here for... AUDIO!

    Likewise...

But all of the faces I know are gone.

No offense to the new guys, but I haven't spent 7 years talking to them and haven't met them in person..

My interest in what they write is very little because I really do not know how much they actually know...

Atleast Troy D, Mantis, Ted, you, Beardog, etc are still around...

But definitely some names like Frank Z, Bruce (Tour) and Russ that should be posting alot more.

Hey man, I've been here longer than your 2k3 SN, anyway :)

I'm meeting some new folks at the gathering at my place this weekend. You can't count people out just because you haven't met them. None of us had met each other when we started here. Some of us just have the priviledge of having been here longer than others. Wait... that's agood thing???!?

    Ah I know --

There are still a few originals around...

Lets not forget Mark and Jesse!

    Haha

I suspect many of these folks troll from time to time. There is too much drama among some of our immature members who profess to know everything. Some of the ridiculous behavior of some of the provocateurs may have taken it's toll. And of course the TBT is gone! Thanks Sona!

But all is cool, five years from now, 80 % of us will have probably moved on. Change is inevitable, it's just life.

LOL @ Sona... she did her job and moved on, didn't she? I've seen this forum try to conform to the general public by adding political forums, et all. It just never works.

Those who don't get involved in petty arguements will remain. It's life in general. Everyone has had to work with people who they don't like. Eventually either they or you leave, and both are happy. Live and let live, fer Chrissakes. How do you think I've lasted for 7 years. When I joined, I was 16 :o

Remember when Spiderman dude was here and we had the Political Playground?

Wow - what a DISASTER that was...

And who can forget the FAMOUS Liv4fam and Mantis VS. TroyD and Russman battles

    Lets say it - EPIC!

Hey now, lif4fam used to be okay... a lot of these guys who left used to be friends with everyone else. All it takes is one comment to be taken the wrong way, and people to not have a thick enough shell to be allowed onto the internet, and you get people who turn nasty and leave in a huff.

I think there should be a survey everyone is required to take before being allowed on the internet by their ISP. "Are you offended by this - "

2 girls one cup should be included in said survey.

Ebb and flow dude. My post frequency has gone waaaay down in the last few months too. Combination of things really. Lack of interest and a dislike for the content/attitude that is being brought by some of the 'new' post whores.

I'm also in what appears to be a very long plateau in both my audio and video systems. I haven't acquired any new A/V gear since last year! That's a record for me!
For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

I try to quit this forum all the time, but I can't fight the urge to check every so often . . . there are many quality people still here that I like to bounce questions off of every now and again.

I will say that I've cut back significantly. It's amazing what you get done when you stop hitting refresh all the time.

Cant have epic battles anymore.....or even good spitwad fights. The first hint of somebody's nose getting out of joint and the whole thread gets deleted. Say what you will about it, good or bad, but a good brawl sure made things more interesting.

I can tell you that Frank Z left because he was fed up with all the PC crap. Bruce got married. Russ works a lot or so I'm told. Polkthuggy......who knows.

I know, Trey how about going on one of your posting blitzkriegs. In a strange way, I kinda miss them.

PolkThug is hangin' in there. I haven't talked to him in a few months, but last time we chatted he was just his normal self. He is way into cars and has a life... what do you expect really?

He's a great guy and helped me quite a bit in a tight spot. My door is always open to him.
