Could it be done?
not sure if this has been talked about...could the lsifx or any surround speaker like it be setup as a 7.1 system by splitting the two seats of speakers?...say the forward firing set would be for the 5.1 setup and then wire the rear firing ones for the 7.1?...and would it work?

Not without alot of unecessary modification. You'd be better off just getting some SB speakers.
