I have a '95 blazer and i want to get a system of good quality but for not alot of money. I only want to spend like 700 bucks. I am wondering if one mm12 will pound alright with a rf 401s amp. Do I need to get at least two subs and will that combo even work. I also hear something about a recall. Whats that all about?
help please.

with that amp youd be better off getting the mm10
    the amp pushes 400x1 @ 4 ohms i believe
and the mm12 is a 500 watt sub
    so ud be underpowering it
but the mm10 is a 400 watt sub
    so thatd be perfect
if you want the 12 though
look for an amp that says 500x1 @4 ohms
    do they make a 501s?
if they do thatd be the way to go
you dont have to worry about the recall anymore
its already been fixed i believe
but when u get ur sub and the sub starts hitting the grille, then its a bad sub
but i think they got all the "bad subs" off the market already
    so you should be good
if you want to get 2 mm12s
then u need to look for an amp that says 1000x1 at 2 ohms
    for the amp/speakers...look at www.onlinecarstereo.com or www.carstereotime.com
they usually have the lowest prices with full warranty and free shipping
